Shri Saraswati Mahila Mandal

We work towards the betterment and the empowerment of the women.

Shri Saraswati Mahila Mandal was established on 1st August 1993 and has been functioning successfully for the past 27 years. The organization is committed to educating rural children by creating awareness about the importance of schooling among both children and their parents. To date, we have reached nearly 300 students and have achieved significant success in this initiative. We have also organized several medical camps, which have yielded positive outcomes for the community. Our primary focus is on the welfare of rural women, ensuring justice and guiding them towards empowerment. Overall, the organization works for the holistic development and betterment of rural areas in and around Haveri District, Karnataka.

To provide quality education to students in rural areas by facilitating access to government and private-sector educational resources, and to promote the empowerment of women by providing and encouraging equal opportunities and support in all fields.

President

Mrs. Parvathi Hosamani is the President of the organization. She brings 24 years of rich experience in the field of social service and continues to serve the organization with great dedication and determination.

Success Story 1

A student named Arun was basically a school drop out due to his financial situations and his parents had no idea so as to how important education is all about. He was working as a coolie in order to financially support his family.

Aarif Irfan Ahmed Killedar a school drop out from a town called Ranebennur.  He being a school drop out wasn't interested in his studies and was a wanderer.  This came into the notice of our organization and we taking a stand beside him, created awareness among his parents and we brought him into a main channel and helped him. He now is pursuing his higher studies and is leading a beautiful life. Now he is been showing a great interest among his studies.

Irfan Shabbisaab from Savanur taluk was a school drop out due to his financial situations and was working in a butcher shop in order to support his family financially.  This came into the notice of our organization and we taking a stand beside him, created awareness among his parents and we brought him into a main channel and helped him.
